It’s a happy first blogoversary day!  Thank you for being supportive, for your encouraging comments and words of affirmation, for letting me share stories, and thank you for sharing your stories through the writing prompt, through emails, or through Facebook. I appreciate you!

first blogoversary

125 posts later and here we are!

For all of you that have participated in the writing prompt, your willingness to be vulnerable and share your stories with others was a blessing to me. I look forward to more prompts as we write about life together.

For all of you parents of kids with special needs, I see you! You are not alone!

For you adoptive parents, I celebrate with you the small steps and the big steps as you continue to grow in the relationship with your adopted child.

For all of you in the trenches of parenting, we are in this together trying to do the best we can. Sometimes we fail, sometimes we get it right, but we got each other and tomorrow we get another chance.

For all of you struggling with your faith, your church, or your calling, remember that there is beauty in brokenness, and God will take us – broken – and make us into something beautiful.

And for all of you that hit the “share” buttons for my posts, thank you!

You have been a part of this, from the beginning, I wish I could reach across the screen and say thank you in person (maybe I should have done my first vlog for today!).
